  • how many records do you have?

  • Hit Them Pads Maneeeeee

  • Is that beat not U2's trying to throw your arms around the world?

  • It is; good ear. I always liked that drum beat, for some reason.

  • can i have this mp3 so i can scratch to it on my torq???

  • cmon man

i can name every single one of those samples

  • Congratulations? ;) I listed most of the artists in the description.

  • sounds kinda good 2 me

  • kool ya relaxin

  • love the vybe

  • whats up man...by da way how do u play more than 1 sample at the time when i try it keeps on cutting the sample played previously, i knoe it is somewhere but can t remember...help me out ...

  • press mode+program then go to params and then change poly to mono

  • WHAT I SAID BEFORE...

    YOU GOT SKILLZ!!!

    SUCKERS DON'T KNOW!!!

    You Rock!!!

    HIPHOP = SAMPLING - SPORT

  • sounds but no beat

  • Your a moron. "Average White Band" Is a band. He is not calling the stones an average white band...Those are two different bands. I think you need to get into music yourself pal.

  • Ha! Perhaps the Stones -are- an "average" white band?.. A lot of people would say they're exceptional, but I'm sure they have their critics.

  • lol. this whole conversation has become very confusing.

  • haha, no no no!!! there's a band called "Average White Band"!! It's a funk band.

  • I can see that music isn't ur thing send me a message if u want 2 give those 2 me. :D

  • "You're". Love you too anyway, my Canadian brother (born + raised in Vancouver, living in San Francisco!)

  • this sample is the drum sequency of tryn to trhow your arms around teh world, of u2.

  • pretty ill my man.

  • sounds like a score for a movie.

  • i see enough nigga's making wack beats ^^

  • Awesome song, totally dig the beat man!! :)

  • u most be a nigga to make good beats hehe

  • you can't be serious.

  • Yes. I'm not. No, I am. Wait, what?

  • either you're a master of sarcasm or a fucking idiot, hahahaha

  • that the band song you sampled is the shit. i love that song.

  • "The Weight" - word. I'm also a fan. Lots of people heard it in 2005 when it was used in a Cingular commercial, oddly enough.

  • Wel, i think he didn't say that the stones are an average white band ... he took samples from the stone AND average white band (which is the name of a band) ;D

  • hope your learning goes well, and be sure to post videos when you do finally get the hang of it! :) I want to get an MPC once I finally get the money (though I doubt that I will in the near future)

BTW, props for the Odelay CD in the background. <- big fan of Beck

  • Thanks, man - it's actually the vinyl LP, and autographed - I met Beck in Santa Cruz by chance after a show one night. My favourite artist of all time.

  • might as well buy a keyboard then

  • but where's the soul in that?

  • if your spending 2000 dollars why not just invest in a drum set?

  • nice beat...makes me smile..=0)

  • How do you cut the samples and then get it on it? Just a memory card? I am very interested in maybe getting a sampler soon. Seems like a lot of fun.

  • fun and hard work. after you sample from a record or from a movie you trim the sample on the mpc it self

  • that shits weak! you should just sell it now!

  • It's a hobby, not a profession. If you can do better, post a video of some stuff. ;)

  • hey scott here is some stuff ive done with my mpc myspace com/jsacmusic

  • What mpc is this and anyone no where i could buy one online?

  • It's a 2500, got it from Guitar Center for something like $1799 I think about a year ago. You should be able to talk them down a little bit.

  • would they seriously drop the price down a little?

  • Yeah, it was $1999, and I asked the guy "what can you do for me" on the price - he got the price down so I was out the door at $1700 or so.

  • i wouldn't buy your tracks, but keep havin fun...maybe pick up a pair of drumsticks some time and learn some rhythm...

  • Thanks. ("Buy?" Damn. Just a hobby for me!) Always wanted to get into drumming, never got around to it though. I'm a better DJ, somewhat (see related videos.)

  • i am wondering how much a mpc goes for

  • I saw that one at Guitar center for 1,600 which is real good... around 1,999 is what you'll pay if you want it really....

  • wow 2 grand aint bad thanks for the info man

  • your MPC looks new....keep up the practice....i have the same one but i have not worked on it....

check out this page worldbeatmakers com

  • Yo man real talk, that ring look real gay man. Take the mess off. This is wack.

  • nice odelay poster

  • Yeah, I hit up some good record stores in San Jose and eBay.

  • Sound is way too "pop" - I started with drums from a U2 track, so go figure. Working on the skillz.. still needs work. ;)

  • you got some ill chops son

  • what do you connect that mpc to?

  • I really enjoyed that once you got going. Keep slogging at it!

  • Why the f*** are people hating on here let my man make his videos.

  • that beat was sic! i could definitely hear this out in the clubs or in an ad campaign. that machine is a beast. very fresh and creative beat there, man. i liked the track mutes a lot. share some more!

  • Club-worthy? A Country club, perhaps? ;) heh.. Nonetheless, thanks. The actual "quicksilver girl" sample made up a lot of the base of the loop, I was layering elements on top of it. The rest stand fairly well combined, though.

  • just at least try to make a beat already..damn! why are you scared of the machine?

  • I was trying to show the different samples used at first, and some variations of beats I tried before just playing the sequence I already had in mind. It wouldn't have been very interesting if I just played the resulting loop, know what I mean?

  • maybe! but gimmi a little more entertainment next time. but still i aint mad a cha.

  • nice samples man.

  • Why did you upload crap like this? We dont want to see you learning, no offense. Upload new stuff when your experienced.
