she doesnt seem genuine, like... she doesnt have a connection with the song. you can just tell.

I totally agree. The whole acting it out makes her seem SO disconnected from the song.

Nothing is comparable to Patty Griffin's or Dixie Chicks....not really a fan of Jessica's version. Just me tho.

Jordin sings this song so so so well! I'd love to hear a recorded version. The song is actually originally by Patty Griffin though, not Jessica Simpson. :)
