  • I use to go to the bleue coyote years ago, they had good food then.

  • The food was still pretty good but the menu was a bit limited... We didn't mind, knowing more or less what to expect.

  • Lordy that all looked really good. Did you do the laundry first than dinner?

I would be to tired to do anything after a big meal. Pretty nails and polish color Cindy.

    Lauren

  • We do dinner first and then laundry because if we did the laundry first all the restaurants would be closed by the time the laundry was done... We often go to sleep after all the clothes are put away :)

  • Ketchup! LOL

  • You should see the size of the bottle of Heinz she has at home LMAO

  • So many choices. Yep that's a girly beer I always thought you put the lime in the coconut not the beer. Once again your video has made me hungry,

  • Doesn't it make sense to weigh the pros and cons of each and every beverage choice and come up with the best one? What Cindy had was not to my liking... I ate too much. Ain't there nothin' I can take?

  • any outing in a pub should be a party, lol ! I think that if you need to choose a beer that means that you need more than one !!! Clamato... one of my uncles would make me drinks with that... wasn't nothing girly about those drinks !!! was that Kris Kristofferson behind Cindy !

  • The guy did look a bit like Kris, didn't he? Well, at least let me see what's on the menu before I need to order!

  • looked good. but I've never heard of that beer here in the states. new one to me.

  • 1516 is a beer from Okanagan Springs Brewery, and Lighthouse Lager is brewed in Victoria by Lighthouse. I doubt that either of those is available anywhere in the USA. I don't think you can get either of them in the other Canadian Provinces either :)

  • OK that's wrong to do to a beer. But a bloody Caesar would be nice right now... Romantic din-dins for 2 :)

  • Apparently, they have a drink called a beezer which is exactly a caesar except that beer is used in the same place in the ingredients as vodka would be... I consider it sacrilege.

  • I thought Clamato was strictly Canajen:)

  • Copied and pasted from Wikipedia: Clamato was produced in its current form beginning in 1966 by the Duffy-Mott company in Hamlin, New York, by two employees who wanted to create a Manhattan clam chowder style cocktail by combining tomato juice and clam broth with spices. They also named the new cocktail Mott's Clamato and secured the trademark for the new brand. According to Mott's, the Clamato Caesar is one of the top selling cocktails across Canada.

  • I have a hem and hawwing husband myself. I'm always ready to rock and roll and waitstaff has to always come back for husband! haha We put lime in Corona beer.

  • Choosing the right beer for the occasion is an important ritual and it must not be rushed :P

  • Nothing says romance like dirty laundry! LOL. Gotta say, that meal looked good. From the conditions of your plates, I'm guessing you liked it - oh, and you said so too! Once again, Cindy looks lovely. Thanks for taking us along on your romantic date night! :)

  • @thizizliz you say the nicest things Liz, thank you

  • @thizizliz I think she does too!

  • I would have used only a squirt of lime in Cindys beer, but thats how I like it. The food looked great.

  • The combination of lime with the clam in the clamato just doesn't belong in the beer even if it's Bud Lite LOL

  • That was definitely good, but Cin was complaining about my farting later on :)

  • Does this mean we're not a good influence? :)

  • I'll stick to just plain lager beer with no mixing of any kind!

  • i thought that was a rather handsome piece of beef Cindy was munchin on, made me hungry !....and Andy's burger was worth committing murder on several large critters and anyone who got to close to it....how were the fries Andy.....i got to have fries with my burger

  • The fries were just right, hand cut but not cut too coarsely or too finely, with just the right amount of potato skin still sticking to them... The were good fries :)

  • Yep that was a good one but I still have issues with this "beer" business!

  • That red stuff is not beer, and you probably are right in thinking the pissy-looking stuff that I'm drinking is not beer either. I don't care. I don't enjoy porter and stout, but a brown ale will do in a pinch if I can't find a good lager...

  • Mmmmmm…

  • I concur.

  • some times it is too hard to pick just one beer, that is why i usually get 2 or 3 ;)

i do not have a car so i am lucky that i do not have to worry about driving

its best to make the mix cindy made from 'scratch' that way you can make it to your taste. i add quite a bit of tobasco to mine, delish!

i think i will make one tonight for me with dinner

damn that is allot of food!

we have a local brewery that rocks. i love it there, though it is way to easy to eat enough for a small tribe

    xoexo

  • When there's one good beer on the menu I can usually find it. This time there were two :)

We had to drive because we were far from the laundromat LOL

That was a lot of food? No wonder I had trouble walking!

Next time we move, I want to choose a place within stumbling distance of a good brewery ;)

  • @fehquig i have not gone to a good pub (or any for that matter) in such a long time. & on nights (like last night) when my son is at a friends house i tend to fall asleep by 9, lol. if i can muster up the energy to go out tonight i will make you and cindy a vid of a local watering hole. there is one that is not 'polluted' too much close to here. it has more beers than you can count a few fire pits out back if you choose to not be indoors

    xoexo

  • @edenbainbridge That would be a treat!

  • Love your restaurant vlogs. Hugs to you and Cindy!

  • I think we have more fun shooting these than any other kind of video :)

  • My wife and daughter are out in BC until Monday. (Abbotsford and Vancouver)

They keep emailing me and calling me to tell me how beautiful it is out there.

I really don't need to here it while I'm stuck at work.

Anyway, they might go to Victoria on Sunday night, 50 bucks if you throw eggs at them. :)

  • Our weather has been sucky so far this Spring. The sun comes out for a bit and then the clouds roll in and it rains for two or three days... Sunday night, eh? Would they be needing a cab?

  • Andy , your face when you tried Cindys beer, lol.

The food looks beautiful presented, tasty too. you can never go wrong with a burger.

i love seafood chowder, and a good steak, but not as rare as Cindys.

    Date nights are fun.

  • This was a very good little outing. This burger was a lot better than the plain bland ones we had a week earlier. I would go again even if they didn't have my favorite beer on tap OR in the bottle! I didn't try Cindy's steak, but she probably would have preferred it with some A-1 or HP...

  • "You're such a quig" ..bwhahahaaa! Were the men behind you eating ribs? Yum. Oooh, now I am so hungry. You & Cindy go to such yummy places. hugs, Chris

  • Yes, it looks like the men behind Cindy are eating ribs... Good eye! One of them also had a pizza brought to the table. I'm such a quig and don't anyone ever forget it! LOL

  • wow that looked good! im hungry now.i went to a place in brentwood bay on the water a small mexican pub? it was amazing i cant remember the damn name.

  • I think we went past it down by the ferry, and learned that the ferry is closed. I think I know the place you mean...

  • Your meals looks so good! A good 'ol cheeseburger always fits the bill!

You guys make these kind of videos so fun!

  • The loaded cheeseburger was just what the cardiologist didn't order, but I was quite satisfied with it even though it gave me some awful gas LOL Cindy and I enjoy teasing each other, and we enjoy it even more when the camera is rolling for one of these vids... Thanks for coming along!

  • Hey! We went to Smokin Bones last night (langford).......unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. We were pretty excited to go to a BBQ joint, and I was really craving a pulled pork sandwich. We got the fried dill pickles as an appetizer..... the outside was burnt, and then it took 45 minutes for us to get our main course. I actually think White Spot makes a better pulled pork sandwich, and my guy though his chicken and ribs were too tough.

    Anyway- have you been?

  • I think they were better a couple of years ago... We got together two years ago with some other local YouTubers and all enjoyed dinner there. I think we made a video. I don't remember... Cindy and I went again three or four months ago because she had Groupon for the place and I found it disappointing but she liked it... I think the place is slipping :(
