Well it's harder to admit you're wrong after picking the wrong guy than it is to say "I never had a doubt" AFTER HE'D WONlol! It was a frustrating bout for me to watch, Froch lost almost 11 rounds taking too many shots with no defense and freezing as always -then bang! lol. I'm happy for him. Hope he get's the fights he deserves now.

round 12 aside i was actually quite disapointed with froch and taylors ability in the fight...froch looked clumsy and nervous and taylor looked tired half way through without even working that hard, and he just let himself get stopped. Still a quality fight though! All the best to Carl!

I watched the fight again tonight and I was amazed at Froch's chin again, but also just how easy he was for Taylor to hit... A real top class Super-Middleweight like Kessler will close the show for Froch I'm afraid - Lucian Bute is who he wants and the other Middleweight: Pavlik would be good close bouts Froch could win. Without fatigue Taylor would have won; not a doubt in my mind, but he became static and couldn't evade those Power shots from Froch any more.

Exactly, he fought the best I've seen him fight and I've seem almost all his fights. Forced the pace throughout, was the aggressor, and ended it.

I rate Calzaghe as the best Super Middleweight out there - though retired. Lucian Bute is a similar style, though not quite as good.
