We don't need to misappropriate the scripture to justify flesh. Yahushua hung out with those who desired to know truth. He hung out with those who were considered by the religious to be "nothings/nobodies" but they desired truth and the relgious did not.
Also what Peter called unclean was based on his religious training. He didn't eat meat/flesh. That was the vision which he was given. The Jews also consider all who were non-jews unclean, however the Father was accepting the Gentile, as the Jew had rejected the gift (salvation through his son) which he'd sent. This vision was the beginning of the explanation he'd be given to now preach the gospel: not only to the Jew, but now to the Gentile. More misappropriation of scripture...really!!!
