Actually, this scenario took place somewhere in either the Pacific or Atlantic (forget which). But it was not in the middle of the African jungles. Still, it was quite a shlocky movie!
There have been both talented and inept choreographers in every era, just as there have been talented and inept actors, writers, directors and producers. It's a big mistake to think that the modern era is the pinnacle of artistic development. It too has inept choreographers, and it is highly likely that future generations will have them too.
Yes, I'm not a very astute observer of the fine art of the dance, but even I noticed that the ladies were out of sync in that jumping knee-slap at about 2m 30s.
watch the "dancer" at 2:32 she is on the right side of the clrcle (if the dance circle was a clock she would be at number 3) she forgets the dance movements completely and after missing a number of turns and movements falls to the ground before the dance is completed by the group - sad.......
Well spotted. It is truly a sad and tragic moment witnessing that poor individual's complete and utter panic and confusion. Not to mention highly amusing.
Didn't anyone notice the blonde with the two men was irish McCalla save for the person who posted this? And thanks Irish still is the queen of the jungle. For those who don't know she was the first Sheena of the jungle.
it is so ridiculous to see wemen dance on an imperial theme song in the 60's that i wonder about the stupidity of woman kind,i mean that if you put a woman to do anything she wil do it even blow job
Yeah, a tribe of white European women living in the middle of the African jungle and dancing with a fifty piece brass band playing music in the background. Okay, that looks real. LOL
I knew the dance would be attractive... what of the past centuries isn't? But this video makes me ponder what century women started covering up with clothes... and why
I am so glad to have "met" Paul, he has done a wonderful job, I am proud to have named named after Irish. She was a gifted artist and remained a charming, good-looking woman even in her senior years, she retained the incredible bone structure, but the beauty withen Irish was even more remarkable, alway's gracious, and happy to have her photo taken with fans, she was very in touch with folks from all walks of life. An outstanding tribute to the human spirit! I love you Irish wherever you are!

Any time I see a scene like this in an old TV show or movie, it seems that the producers sought them out as bountiful casting-couch opportunities.

They all look like '50s suburban housewives playing around on "girls' night out" while hubby is out drinking with his buds at the lodge.

It was a deserted tropical island these gals inhabited, but that's a trivial distinction.

"She Demons" is pure classic schlock. It's got statuesque Irish McCalla as a spoiled rich babe, whip-cracking Nazis, monster-faced jungle girls, incomprehensible science, and . . . CHOREOGRAPHY!
Of course, we're not exactly talking Agnes de Mille here.

Type in Joi Lansing Web Of Love, and you'll find something similar to this. But in color. It's an old Scopitone.
