I find the song Komm Susser Tod hilarious--probably not the intended reaction--partly due to my distaste for the franchise it's featured in, but it's a catchy song. Still, it usually fails to evoke an emotional reaction.

The melody, rendered as it is now, on the other hand, is making me very, very sad.

Kanon is a very common-Melodic set nowadays, and it was a breakthroug at its time and influenced many other musicans. So, there are many songs using it in one or another way. Thats why many songs sound pretty good if u mash em up with Kanon.
