The EU project i myself suspect is a path to a United European nation, although i don't think it's aim is against the US. China and India are growing stronger, so it Russia and signs indicate the same about nations in South America. Strength by numbers is what EU want.
It probably is partly to control the US. They are able to do whatever they want with no accountability something the EU should be able to control to some extent(As soon as my country stop acting like their little poodles). The whole eastern bloc thing is partly done to control Russian expansion, China is too wrapped up in everyone's economys to do anything drastic, Indian became a big trader with Europe when the UK entered and, finally, Brazil, and most SA countries, like the EU.

The Lisbon Treaty/Constitution is "self amending", that means the law can be changed Without consent of the respective memberstates. An unelected commission in Brussels makes 50%-85% of the laws that will affect al the peoples of Europe and the interest rate is set by them.

I can agree with some former statements here.
The United states is a young nation though. Many nations in Europe are near a 1000 years old, some even over 2000 years of age. It's not wise to give a baby a gun.
The EU project i myself suspect is a path to a United European nation, although i don't think it's aim is against the US. China and India are growing stronger, so it Russia and signs indicate the same about nations in South America. Strength by numbers is what EU want.

They are able to do whatever they want with no accountability something the EU should be able to control to some extent(As soon as my country stop acting like their little poodles). The whole eastern bloc thing is partly done to control Russian expansion, China is too wrapped up in everyone's economys to do anything drastic, Indian became a big trader with Europe when the UK entered and, finally, Brazil, and most SA countries, like the EU.
