They're not so cute if they're well fed. I remember seeing a rat in Chicago that really freaked me out. I had seen many woodchucks and muskrats, but this was a rat the size of a terrier. It must have weighed at 25 pounds! I had no idea they got that big. Luckily, it avoided contact and I was fine with that.

Why din't you let the trap finish the job, wouldn't it have suffocated him if it caught him anywhere outside of the neck? Looks like someone let him out of the trap early so the ugly bastard just suffered before dying. I hate rats but damn I wish it would have broke his neck for a quicker death. Better than a glue trap I guess.

@thebizkit69u somehow it was able to pull itself from the trap. I'm not sure if it got caught then was able to get out, or if the trap just injured it without actually catching it.

that things huge. i hate the city man. i all ready have plans of what to do when i find a rat on one of my glue traps. there's a little shovel that im going to use to scoop up the trap, take it out to my front step and bludgeon the thing with the shovel until the cops show up.
