awesome song. not surprised some people don't like jay's verse. he is notorious for going over people's heads with his lyrics. Reasonable doubt is a perfect example. it is one of the best, if not the best hip-hop album ever but it sold poorly and only got 3.5-4 stars out of 5 from most reviewers. but than u have albums like the carter 3 that pail in comparison and people call it a classic. i guess its just a matter of taste. if u are not in to deep meaningful lyrics than jay isn't for you.
