Giggs is the most recent player to be considered a Utd legend... he's won it all with the club and his loyalty is unmatched. If only Ronaldo had that loyalty... he could have became a Utd legend.

@tezmt1 What do you exactly mean by that? I am a United supporter myself and I do actually consider Ronaldo to be more or less a legend for the Club. A lot of people love Cantona for example because of his skill, attitude and dedication to the club. But the truth of the matter is that Ronaldo far exceeds the accomplishments he's been providing than Cantona, and Cantona is for a lot of fans considered to be a legend. The point is that Ronaldo has contributed a lot the club during his six years.

@tezmt1 Which was pretty much my point. He had a certain attitude and mentality that we don't really see in today's players. However, he didn't bring anywhere near the same titles as Ronaldo did. So what does really define a true legend? Cantona himself only played 5 years. Ronaldo has himself taken United to the next level during his six years to be considered as one of the best clubs in the world. Winning EPL 4 times, reaching 2 CL finals and winning the FA Cup 2004.

@Rethawan United will always be one of the biggest clubs, if not the biggest in the world but obviously it wasn't big enough for Ronaldo, players like Ronaldo come and go but players like Cantona, Best and Giggs can never be replaced i think that defines a true legend.

@tezmt1 We have already seen that Ronaldo can never be replaced. He is undeniably considered to be the best United player ever when it comes to skill. Even Johan Cruyff said that he was better than G.Best. Nevertheless, it was never about United not being big enough for Ronaldo. He like many other know how enormous the club itself is. It was all about Ronaldo having a dream as a kid to play for Real Madrid. He just simply wanted to achieve that dream he had as a boy.
