Planning permission has been granted to redevelop this site for "a restaurant, conference facilities and a specialist car sales building". A time extension had to be granted in October 2011, so at a guess the developer is having problems getting the necessary funding together.
cool vid, i used to have a beer in the halfway every now and then,always surprised at the fact that it was never demolished, and if i remember rightly the land was for sale at about a 2 million, how long has that garage been closed anyway.

Heading towards London you have to go up to the roundabout before the station.... then head down again towards London and you can turn off
