Swindon piston valve locos all seem to knock out separate 'blocks' of exhaust into the air like this....

Sensational view (and sound too!). I think the cut off must have been fully open to make a noise and smoke like that.

More coaches than BR allowed up Talerddig with this class.... I think the limit was 6.

Please use a tripod, the results will be much better, especially when using the zoom
