@Raskrew: I think you mean older tracks of hardstyle. Because there was a long time that most hardstyle-dj's were using reversed basses. But that time is passed, now the basses are going exactly on the same time with the kickdrums and sounds the hardstyle more powerfull and agressive... A good example of a old-school hardstyle bass is: Headhunterz - The Sacrefise

A good example of the new-age: SMD - Just Like You (good song!!!)

DJ Eleos, I have to disagree. A lot of hardstyle still uses reverse bass. Karpe DM, for one, is a somewhat popular hardstyle artist that uses it.

Viceoffire, You're right that the reversed basslines still is in use. What I meaned to say was that a long time ago the reversed bass the most used and popular bass was in the hardstyle scene. And now, the evolution of other basses is coming up. So, the reversed bass is not out of the picture, but less used then the basses at this moment. I hope you understand what I mean;)
