  • one in kate bush is worth ten in the hand !

  • @TheJohnnyboy8 lmfao

  • dobra nuta

  • U - U - U -Utah Saints. Came to Miami in 1991 with Lords of Acid. I love the days before breaks, house, jungle, and ambient were all together before they started breaking out into different genres in the mid 90s. Those days are long gone and I am left to reminisce. The Edge Ft Lauderdale, Fever & Warsaw South Beach FLA

  • forgive my ignorance, who is who in this video clip.... who is the bass player????

  • This track ruined my first trip to Utah, some years later.

Still, it's a good track though.

  • remember listening this as a kid, great if i had a bust up and just chilled with this

  • we,re in 2011 and still listening it a proof that this is music for a lifetime !!!

  • first ever record i bought

  • I had this on tape ffs!

  • I love running to this tune, and JX's Son of a Gun. If none of us had heard this track before, and it was released now, it would defently hit number one, I mean, these tunes are ageless. Does anyone actually care about who's top of the charts anymore? It was a big thing when I was a kid, now no one seems to give a flying fig.

  • EPIC :-) ooohh I

  • UTAH SAINTS !!!!!!!

  • @twowinds U-U-U-UTAH SAINTS!!!!!

  • A KATE IN THE HAND IS WORTH TWO IN THE BUSH........

  • @eoinue I'd rather have Kate in the bush than the hand to be honest.

  • @MrPockets1200 lol Mon Scotland!! :o)

  • Ah, the 90s. Definitely the single most musically creative decade in history. Golden age of dance, alternative rock, gothic&industrial, rap, euro, techo and amazing groups like Utah Saints that didn't fit into a "genre". I was so fortunate to be a teenager in that decade. :D

  • Reminds me of when i was 13, i loved this song and still do :)

  • What a load of shite the 'remake' was.

  • @whipchorus awesome video though

  • @spishak go get your ears cleaned you deaf dumb fuck,or is it the damage that the meths caused u prick

  • From the movie "Cloudbusting"

  • Best fucking tune and beat ever!

  • Blockbusting tune

  • Something Good was in 1992 not in 2008

  • It's nice to see these assholes shakin' and rambin' like they were legendary and realze they're a fart lost in cyberspace now

  • @ZachSodenstern that's a bit unfair. they were just having a laugh and riding it for what is was worth. i rented a house off utah saints in leeds in 1993 and it had a double bath with a jacuzzi> Fucking awesome after a club, girls in their knickers and spliffs and foam everywhere etc.

  • @jamesknox64 i used to work with dj tim in knaresbough many years ago he was a top bloke

  • @ZachSodenstern A wet one at that !

  • @MrMDC01 At them, at the song? Sure. It's a matter of taste.

  • I still play these classics, thank god for you tube

  • Thumbs up for Kate's Bush!!!

  • Some of the best bump skiin' music of all time.

    Alta. Snowbird. Utah Saints.

  • Anything with a Kate Bush touch HAS to be good!

  • doesnt sound remastered to me :/

  • i'm glad i'm 38. what fun

  • songs that peel back the thick layers, revealing deeper emotion. That is what makes a good song. I used to listen to this, about 10-12 years ago, while dabbling in "mind altering" chemicals. Good times. No regrets.

  • Ah nice a tune from the days before UK radio became R&B gangster sh%t music only !

  • thay do not make songs as good as this no days super

  • Wish i was around for the 90's era :(

  • @PineDub hahahaha lad sorry, you missed it and i can barely remember it hahahaha

  • loved this track when i was a kid...only found out about a month ago this was kate bush.....why dint it realise...what a div.

  • @spyd3r666 hahahaha.. At least you came out and publicly admitted it.. hehe Yes this is a sample taken from Kate Bush's song Cloudbursting. I always liked Utah Saints for sampling other songs and making great tracks from them.. Like Eurithmics's Angel made into What can you do for me and Human Leauges Love action made into Believe in me among others.. Good tunes back then .. unlike the plastic pop we get now.. ☺

  • what i mean is this is the rubbish end of the good stuff,i still go thro to the fuse in brussels, some great nights even for old farts like me,oh for a angels/shelleys/monroes/dankeys/hac/bowlers/q pk/(never got there)etc etc in the uk--.get over to belgium its still happening(sort of)

  • one for the plastic set-pathetic,the u saints were a poor joke

  • sampling kate bush this and oceanic were out bout same time classic tune

  • Yip it`s a belter.Just glad i lived the dream..I never held back..back in the day..Glad i didn`t.I could`ve turned out bitter and twisted.Just hope the kids today realise that life is for living and not for watching other living...You get one shot..Don`t waste it..No regrets!

  • @TIMBER2071 ...and fuck everyone else, I had a good time, that's what counts. That is the view of the typical rave wanker. Here's a word for you, it's an old word, and one you have never come near to understanding: Honour.

You are liars, cheats, thieves, junkies, the most selfish people on earth. It's all about you, isnt it?

  • @Spankabuttux What are you talking about? it was us ravers that ended football hooliganism, it was extacy that ended the riots on the terraces. Without us there would be no Premier League. Compared to that what has your vanilla existence contributed to the greater good?

What's your name? What have you done? Reach for the Lazers...........

  • @MrScurvyKnave SPLUTTER! *cough* What? Ecstasy ended football hooliganism? Why? Because all ravers would otherwise be violent cunts? I'll agree with that.

You're all brotherly love when medicated, but unmedicated you are all violent braindead pricks. I won't even bother if you twats can't even spell your own drug right...moron.

  • brings back sum good mem's

    smashing tune!

  • I think the music from Chaos Engine (Amiga) owes something to this.

  • Pride of Leeds . . . Gallery / Warehouse / Back 2 Basics we fucking had it all !

  • UUUTTTAAA SaINTS Man i justed turned 40 ...this take me back THANKYOU

  • this tune was burned into my brain in the 90's, hearing it brings it all back...great tune

  • I am reliving my youth!!! oh for a Tardis!!! thanks for posting!!!!

  • First saw this on, "The Chart Show" in 1992!

  • 79 people clearly hung up on Hanson.. Utah Saints shaped my house music & rave experience as a teen. love these guys =)

  • damn! this song was and still is awesome, my favorite club song of all time

  • I remember seeing this video back in '92 and i loved this Kate Bush-sample. Then i got a 56k-modem and it took me 2 hours to download this song... and nowadays i can watch the video again :) Utah Saints rocked

  • People jumping around in field clubs dark rooms all on the same buzz

never again will so many be on the same level

never again will so many give so many free love hugs

  • I saw these guys live on my 21st birthday!

  • @thelostpacket I saw these guys south of Los Angeles. They took me backstage, we took pics and signed my Something Good cassette jacket!

  • CHOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "@spankabuttux..One thing I've noticed from the Rave era is that they needed to import "humanity" into their world, as no humanity was there before, discuss...

    Spankabuttux 1 month ago"

ARGHHH you see, that is an outsiders individual opinion to which your entitled but if you had`ve experienced, you wouldn`t be asking...

For those that experienced.. found new levels of consciousness with induced togetherness,4love life and unity..which isn`t open to individual criticism..4 you are not one..

  • @TIMBER2071 That is my point- INDUCED TOGETHERNESS. From drugs. Without the drugs they are yobs.

  • @Spankabuttux

Not necessarily m8,true the barriers needed breaking down, what with the fear in society and cover book judging of people, drugs at first may have been needed to help with barrier breakdown but after time people started to relax and stopped the false face-ons and became themselves, when finding out by communicating, even the thug-like were just people waiting for this revolution to happen just to have a good time away from possibly the most stressed population living standards EVER

  • @Spankabuttux(ran out of space)

Then, the power of the music and people took over..I reached peaks probably witnessed by lottery winners with no fast come down without the need for drugs, music was the overall natural high.Yet there was obviously problems with some getting carried away with doses and using more than their fair share of serotonin who were depressed and frustrated when not reaching peaks who became negative, like alcholics do to drink.

I STILL GET A RUSH NOW. no e numbers in sight

  • @TIMBER2071 Fair enough, mate, I know it is always wrong to generalise. I appreciate you love the bleepy stuff(that is inflamatory, tho in my mind true), and I feel a little inkling of what you get from it, but in my experience the vast majority of fans of rave are lying cheating thieving smackheads without any moral compass.

  • @Spankabuttux

Such a shame on your part there fella.Maybe you just wasn`t in the right company or not with anyone who could show you the realm to true freedom, where senses were taken to a new level.Yip,there was the culture around of what you describe but rest assured when i was on one like `anybody outhere`..the threat vanished..to the point where a new level of respect came from this new level of consciousness..telepathy with kinetic energies...Yip..shame...you missed the boat!

  • @TIMBER2071 You are fucked. Freak.

  • @Spankabuttux

    My mum still loves me

  • nothing change...sounds so powerful!

  • In 1992, I saw Silverfish, Utah Saints, The Fall, Senseless Things and Jesus Jones play at the Slough festival. Brilliant :o)

  • Remember this you put 2 months ago?.

"One thing I've noticed from the Rave era is that they needed to import "humanity" into their world, as no humanity was there before, discuss."

  • I love how I was only 1 when this song came out, but it's one of my favourite dance songs now in 2011 :)

Dance and rave was so much better in the 90s!

  • can anyone remember the summer of 1992 when this was out? all that mattered was the booze, girls, and fast cars

  • DANIEL SON!!! SHOW ME "BEAT THE DRUMS!"

  • So happy these are doing Beatherder this year along with Leftfield - a weekend of re-living my youth is in order - show the young-uns how it's done :)

  • Do you ever look at your life now, however happy you are & think that NOTHING will top the days when you were staying out all weekend off your tits on drugs?

  • Sustained commited glory! Can you surrender? I can, oohi can feel something good is gonna happen!

  • Knew Tim before they started US, still love the music

  • ooooohhhhh right

  • I never thaught younger people would dig this song too. Cool. It's one of my favorites.

  • Heard this song in 1992 a few times but couldn't remember anything but the words "something good" & a bit of the melody. Over the years I've searched high and low, in stores and online, thought it was by the group Happy Mondays.

Decided to try "Happy Mondays Something Good" in youtube search and got nothing. Removed Happy Mondays from the search and voila, Utah Saints. Years and years of painful searching ended in an instant.

Found so much long forgotten music here, I LOVE IT!! Thank you.

  • Kate Bush <3

  • I like the high contrast remix better :D

  • Thank you for posting! Man, can that guy ever drum! How hard does that kettle drum get thumped @ 0:33 ?!

  • Love it!!!!

  • the new version is cool, but this has a harder punch, which i like

  • choon

  • Fully agree. One of the very best songs of the 90es, violently underrated.

  • @stefancev Violently underrated? Did someone kill their ratings or them?

  • @stefancev the 2008 version is better !!!!!

  • @Mr08cm Nothing REMADE in 2008 is going oto beat the orginal

  • no its not 90's piss all the this new modern shit people listen nowadays! old skol for eva

  • THE VIDEO IS BETTER

  • @stefancev This song got me into techno...hard as that sounds :) I was 15...heard this...and previously thought all popular music was shite....a gateway openend to me .... :)

  • Mormons?

  • The best song of 1992, a great fusion of rock and techno. I used to go absolutely bonkers on the dancefloor whenever the DJs whacked this on at the nightclubs. Did this song ever get performed live on Top of the Pops with Kate Bush?

  • Wow, can't believe the video is up - never thought I'd get to see it! I love Utah Saints so much, they are so underrated...!

  • This song reminds me of being 14/15 and at a party and loving every minute of it.
