Ron Paul is a diehard supporter of states rights. What is states rights? Its where the state chooses different laws (economic, administrative, civil etc) based on how the MAJORITY vote. That in effect means that the minority has absolutely no say in what they can do.
He is also a mutual friend of the John Birch Society, a group who in 1963, supported an attempt to repeal a Bill giving equal rights to minorities seeking property ownership.

You arbitrarily decide that Paul's congressional service spanning 30 years has made him part of the establishment, while Obama's 10 year state and US senate service does not. You logic implies that if Obama argued for change for too long in Washington then he too would be part of the establishment.

I don't think so, and I say this because he will not work well with congress. He will be a president that fights the government his entire term and will not be able to get anything done. He does manage to inject a bit of sense into the Republican debates, though.
