...im looking for a tube amp, and my budget is 400, possibly up to 450 or 500. i was leaning towards a blackheart little giant half stack but cant find any. any suggestions? and sorry this is in 2 text boxes lol accidentally clicked post to early
Mr. David, thank you for all your lessons. they are really helpful! i have a gear question i was hoping you could help me with. money is a big problem with me, and i need a new amp terribley
David, Thanks for the New Lesson, and the link. I have expanded my abilities a lot from the Blues lessons I bought last year. Keep On Rockin' ! James.
@propolispills - Hi james - thanks man - really appreciate the kind words - means a lot my friend. Keep up all the hard work and keep on rocking on that guitar!
@kjh8839511 if your able to use your first 3 fingers and stretch them pretty good enough where you never really need the pinky then i think that its fine not to learn the pinky, imean after all, look at eric clapton, you should look up a video of him, and if you notice the way he plays, he never uses his pinky
@xXBlinDXx12 Well, really it depends on what kind of stuff you're playing. Of course you could always try to use your first three fingers, but it's more of an effort to do that than it is to just learn to use your pinky. :P
Hi - I suggest using the pinky - but you want to find what works best for you. Check out some of my other lessons here on YouTube as I have other lessons using the pinky as well as finger strength and dexterity exercises that really help to get that pinky strong - enjoy!
Seriously, if you want to get better, David's books and DVDS are worth every penny. I have most of them and the jam tracks are great, and the e-book is a must have. He really teaches in a way that makes sense and gets results! No, I don't work for him, I'm just stoked over the way my playing has improved thanks to his teaching. Thanks for making these vids and everything else you are doing. You've made a real difference!
Hi - thanks so much for your kind words - really appreciate you taking the time to write in and say such nice things - means a lot to me! Sounds like you are making stellar progress on that guitar - keep up all the hard work and keep on rocking!
Hi - click on the link in the text box below the video and follow the screens and you will be sent an email confirmation and then we will email you the free video lesson and free Ebook - enjoy and keep on rocking!
F-Sharp-Minor-7 ?? yeah right, you just made that up. there's no such thing... ask Johnny Ramone if HE ever played an F-Sharp-Minor-7. He'll tell you the same thing... that chord is a fairy tale
@smp156 No such thing as an F# Minor 7th? Really. Do you know your 6th string minor 7th chords? Well, if so isn't there an F# note located at the second fret, 6th string? Now if I used a minor 7th chord shape starting on the second fret, 6th string, what do you think the name of that chord would be? Think hard now.....
Hi - simple setup for this lesson - my mid 1990s les paul standard plugged into a Fulltone OCD pedal and then straight into a small tube practice amp - a Fender Champ 12 - thats it - pretty basic and easy - enjoy and rock oN!
tks for another interesting and very informative lesson.
