In the sharing/gift economy "abundance" and "scarcity" isn't measured in dollars. As I expand into that system, my life requires /less/ money but I live more abundantly.

Again, you hit the nail firmly on the head! Agreeing to someone paying less is telling the universe there are special cases out there who deserve to have your time at a reduced rate. And guess what? The universe will bring more people to you, who deserve to pay less.
