Pres. Bush also sent Iran a message at this time in his first 4 years - but with a stark contrast. Bush's message was to the Iranian people, and he used words like "Freedom" and "Liberty" to encourage the Iranian people to seek freedom from the Mullahs. O's message was to the Mullah's and it was one of surrender. Iranian culture teaches you only go the bargaining table to discuss surrender. Which is in effect what O just did. But they don't care what he says unless its "we give up, you win".
