  • Thank Nik for responding

  • hi Nik: What setting are you using on the tc helicon VoiceWorks plus? I like the natural crisp sound on your video. I just got the unit myself, and your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • @hungmaibaby hello :D

Well, I don't have the vwplus anymore.

The voice live2 is a bit different, but I only use slight compression on the vocals now for recording (and also the gate)

Everything else is done with software filters in the DAW

  • Nice!! i liked !!

  • How do you like the AKG headphones?

  • hmm, well, they are really good, clear and linear sound

but I don't like the strap (how is it called? the thing that hold them on your head), it's kinda hard material. Also the ear cushions became hard and splintered after about 1 year ...

but yeah, beside that they sound great ^^

  • Hello Nik. Your music GOOD!!!!

    I live in Russia, Moscow.

    When download your music?

  • yeah try it while your playing a guitar

  • Hey Harf :)

    well, though I have 2 guitars I only know 3 or 4 chords. :/

I seem to break my fingers while playing ...

I also have problems concentrating on both, singing and playing

This video is kinda old, 1 year already ... I improved singing a bit since then :)

  • 3 cords all you need -lol

you did a nice job on it

    took me years -lol

but i have about 3 different ways i do it now

  • cool bluegrass?

  • Hey Nik,

    Great job!

I was wondering I just bought a voiceworks plus and was wondering how you hooked up to your audio interface to run to your computer for clean vocals. Anything you could write would be very helpful.

    Thanks!

  • Hi :)

    thanks :D

well, I use the edirol as audio interface. It's set to 48 KHz sampling rate. The WWplus is connected with the edirol via optical spdif and also set to 48 KHz clock rate. The analog output of the WWplus is routed to a mixer so that I can hear myself with some more hall/reverb via headphones.

    I hope that helped ^^

  • Great song. Nice job.

  • thanks :)
