  • So Helpful, thanks Chris. Can you recommend a way of managing surface rust while Im waiting to save my pennies for a full paint job? I have a 64 and Im finding thin paint areas with surface rust and I dont mind a temporary/ugly solution to keep the rust at bay.

    BTW (and this is completely nit-picking) you pronounce chassis NOT as "sha-see" is that a NY thing?

  • @wayneartist hahaha, yea sorry, it is a NY thing, HA! but as far as your rust, you can lightly sand it and spray it with some primer.
