That's a great idea to put the PVC pipe over the safety rods rather than a bar on the rack so that it is out of the way in case you want to use the rack for benches, squats, etc.
What's the white thing over the bar? I made the same set up in my power rack but am limited by the fact that the bar is only one inch in diameter. If I could slip something over the bar to thicken it then I could handle more poundage without my grip slipping. What are you using here?

The white material is PVC pipe with a hole drilled into it (so that the rope can stay in place). The power rack pin slides through the piece of pipe.
