  • wi love "KIPES" in Dominican Republic ( caribbean) the arabian brought ... ricoooo ricoooo ricooo kipe,,, is a tradicional snack , all over of the island .

  • We love kibbeh in Brazil. I think it's a popular throughout Latin America. Arabian people brought this food into Latin America. Nowadays all brazilian snack bars MUST have kibe/quibe (that's how we write in Brazil) and Esfiha at least. Even in schools we have these delicious foods. YUM YUM YUM.

  • @Pedrofrombrazil , This is very interesting information about Quibe being this popular in Brazil...it must have been brought there by the immigration of people from the Levant there over a 100 years ago.   • @nanoushi , it is not that hard to make if you get your stuff organized and you do not make a huge portion :)

    you can use half of the amounts i have listed on the recipe to make just enough for few people. Thanks for your comment.

    This is a fine recipe even if it doesn't look like my Mother's kibbeh either (they never tell you everything...)

    تسلمي علي الفديوا و ان شاء الله راح جربها تحياتي للشعب سوريا ^^

    اللحمه المفرومه تقلى مع بصل و بهارات و قليل من الزيت بس. :)

  • is it really a good idea to use Latex in food preparing? If I like to use any gloves i would use vinyl or nitrile gloves

  • I do not like "el Kubbeh" She has a strong taste of frying oil. I think it's because the meat retains the oil like a sponge.

  • Thank you for your recipes, they are all wonderful, I am just having a problem making kibbeh. It tastes fine but it doesn't look as smooth on the outside. DO you have any suggestions?

  • I guess you have to practice making it more and more...after making so many you will perfect its shape :)

  • I have never had them in red (tomato) sauce. sounds interesting! i imagine that you would cook the sauce then drop the Fried kibbeh and cook for ONLY few minutes, otherwise it will break down in the sauce. i guess this way can be served with white rice on the side. but i will look up recipes and if i find one, i will send it to you.

  • Hi, actually I love Kibbe, I live in Brazil and there are a lot of kibbe recipe here which had been brang by immigrants, Which you post the proper recipes, even the condiments you used to make your Kibbe, because I could not realise nothing...would be very kind of you if you do that! kind regards from Brazil.

  • nupps, at .16 minute of the video you get to see the list of ingredients including the spices added. and they are: salt, black pepper, allspice, cinnamon and cardamom.

    Just aside, this is the first time I see it done without the special machine for kibbeh which I don't have!

  • sstheboss, thanks for your comment! i actually heard about the Kebbeh machine making, but i have never seen it...i always make it with my hands and it is not so bad if you are not making a huge quantity of it.
