Omg, a BMW doesn't have higher buildquality than the ford just because it's priced higher. My family have owned a Mondeo 3.0 for about 6 years now, it's done almost 17000 KM and the only things we've needed to change on it, exept the usual tiers and brakes, are some lights. Yes, the BMW is a faster car in a dragrace but the price is way higher, and as many others have been saying, they are two different types of cars.

Ford Focus RS 0-62 mph = 5.9 sec, Top speed: 163 mph.

BMW 335 0-62 mph = 5.1 sec, Top speed limited to 155 mph

Why do people always rave about BMW this BMW that. Build quality is better than Ford etc, etc. Not necessarily true and they cost twice the price of the equivalent Ford, Vauxhall etc.... I've driven a few BMW's and they are over priced and over rated for what they are and above all are dull as dishwater to drive. You can't compare the Focus RS to any BMW, because BMW don't make a proper 'hot hatch' they make big engine luxury cars. It's a chalk and cheese comparison...

There is a big difference between 335i and the FRS! The 335i is a fast Luxuscar and the RS is a sportscar! That are 2 different types of cars! The acceleration from stand is faster in the BMW because of the rearwheeldrive! But the Focus is much faster around the corners! We cant compare two such different types of cars! And the BMW costs the double price!

Don't know about the ACTUAL power of the RS, but the 335 are underrated from the factory. They usualy producy 30+ hp more than the number the factory claims. Search a few forums, you'll see that this is true.
