It's all planned out. If they want to build a middle/high income housing area or an business expansion where a low income area is they just let that area rot because they can't move you out for no reason. If an area is bad and half abandoned, no justification is needed when it comes to moving people by force. Really think about the why some areas that were consider bad for 15 + years magically become good areas in a matter of 2 years. It's a chess game where low income people are the pawns.

Interesting that most of the areas of Baltimore that the well-to-do originally lived in, like Druid Hill Ave., the poor and poverty stricken now reside in. You can tell by the facades of these houses that they were very well built - you still don't see cracks in the remaining walls after 100+ years. It would cost a small fortune to build these same houses today with the detail work they had inside and out. I'm an ex-west Baltimorean who still loves his old hometown and it's ornate rowhouses.

I dont live there but I read a couple of years ago where a white woman was beaten nearly to death on a public bus by blacks. They said she called them the N. word. I cant imagine ever using that word and I can't imagine being the only white person on a bus and using that word. I have to believe someone was being racist and ignorant and it wasnt that woman.
