  • You know, you could try saying it backwards, which would be docious-ali-yucka-istic-fragil-cali-rupus, but that would be going a bit too far, don't you think?

Hope I didn't give Oscar any ideas.

  • i got a question that needs answering if she signs everything they say and shes deaf???? how can she hear what they are saying.......? has anybody ever thought of that? j/w

  • Yeah, that's what I was thinking. She's not deaf, she's just a translator.

  • I kind of think it would have made more sense to have the "yucka" replace the "super" instead of the "expi", because when you think about it, super is kind of a complimentary word, you know what I mean?

  • she looks like shes gonna seize up!!!

  • Wasn't there a regular cast member on SS who was deaf?

  • The word is Supercalifragilisticyouccalidocious!

I hope I spelled it right.

Timi should've placed the word in position one before her and pointed to that spot each time Oscar said it. That's what a lot of deaf people do with a word they're going to use a lot, and I'm pretty sure Linda would agree.

  • ....ok lady has more patients them me I would have welded his lid shut

  • funnnnnnnnnyyyyy

  • At 2:14, you can hear that Oscar almost made a mistake when he was saying the longest word he knew but, he quickly changed it at 2:14.

  • yay! that's my auntie!

  • Really?

  • May God always bless Your Aunt and guide her in his path- She's a role model for all of us to admire!

  • lmfao!!!!! Oscars such a twat!!! hahahahahaha wow hes ace

  • I remember one that had Linda filling in for Oscar that ran in the late 1980s.

  • That one was hysterical! Peace.

  • I have to admit, I'm glad Marty took over as Telly. Brian's just doesn't sound quite right.

Anyway, one thing I want to bring up is that I saw an illusionist perform on campus the other day. He actually did the same trick. He tried to get the interpreter there to sign 'Supercalafragalisticxpealadocious.' I think that lady did a better job than Timi. :)

  • I remember watching "Ask Oscar" when I was a kid. I think that this clip here is from 1983. Don't you think?

  • North Worm, Nebraska? That must be a parody of North Platte, Nebraska. Being from Nebraska myself I would know.

  • Great stuff!!!

  • and then she throttled Oscar after the take was complete! :P

  • Timi was a friend of Linda's. She was around in the early eighties. Like Bob, she was a hearing person but she also knew perfect American Sign Language. I don't know why she didn't stay around.

  • I remember the woman, but I never knew her name. That's dope! Peace.

  • I think I vaguely recall "Timi" being one of Linda's friends. I don't think she was even deaf. She might have been a sign language instructor.

  • Apparently Oscar is an equal opportunity offender. Maybe Timi was Linda Bove's last-minute replacement, after suffering carpal tunnel syndrome and a sprained wrist in her rehearsals for this sketch.
