Bret never seemed to quite to grasp hold of the heel role. I always thought it was a little awkward. Then you have Shawn Michaels who can get the fans really going when he's heel.
Brett wasn't meant to be a heel. His character was all about hardwork, skill and ethics. Even when he was a bad guy, he stood behind those things. He was only a heel because the WWE wanted to push HBK. When he was a heel, the only thing that fans didn't like about Brett was that he was Canadian, and even that wasn't a big deal.

Bret never seemed to quite to grasp hold of the heel role. I always thought it was a little awkward. Then you have Shawn Michaels who can get the fans really going when he's heel.

Brett wasn't meant to be a heel. His character was all about hardwork, skill and ethics. Even when he was a bad guy, he stood behind those things. He was only a heel because the WWE wanted to push HBK. When he was a heel, the only thing that fans didn't like about Brett was that he was Canadian, and even that wasn't a big deal.

@vincentrich Yeah that is true. I like HBK a tad more, but both guys my favorites and they are the most talented to have ever wrestled for that company. It aint the same anymore.

what made this feud great was the actual heat between them, at times you could see the tension was real. then again austin and bret had that tension yet they actually got on really well. what made bret the best, amazing story teller, and the best this/was/ever will be

bret lied in his book....he said he didnt hear the sunny days comment because it was so loud in the arena. Yeah right. But he was right about Shawn being wasted, obviously. I dont get what was so great about sunny back then. She had that Doug Funny nose and shit. She was okay and all, but everybody acts like she was beautiful or something..

@Hallucination "most real" That doesn't even make sense. He messes up all the time, he doesn't sound confident, and most of the time the fans don't even seem interested in what he's saying. Nothing is engaging about his mic work. There's nothing 'sheepish' about it, it's just plain to see.
