@Parakoopatroopa yes but if you found wolves in a pack fossilised together 80million years from now you would probably assume that they hunted in packs whereas lions would not be found together as commonly, also other skeletons of their prey with bite marks would show what they ate as well as if mutiple attackers were involved. we may not be able to predict a dinosaurs behavoir accurately but we can still determine lots of things from fossil remains.

Their teeth tells you about what they ate, bite marks and stuff tell you about what they were predated by etc... once you have all this information you can bring it together and see how it fits... it's like a puzzle... you don't always have all the pieces.

The colours are just guess work and can be wrong but their behaviours are predicted very accurately.

I loved this series as a kid. I was reallt into dinosaurs back then so a whole series like this was what I always wanted.

However as time goes on a documentary series about prehistoric life, no matter how good, is always going to suffer from the issue of new facts discovered about the creatures after the release of the series.

Sure not everything they said is accurate now but to me that doesn't matter. I still love it.
