  • HIDE! trust no one! they all stab you in the back in the end....

  • i definitely think the harmonica works better but i like the rest better from the original, including lennons voice. but still def cool

  • Beautiful...Thank you.

  • great version , eddie is the best as is pearl jam ..

  • ilaria racchia

  • I could'nt hold back the tears when this song played during the movie.

eddies voice and strumming guitar was perfect at that part of the movie.

Oh, and great performances by Penn& Phifer.

  • I knew this song by this cover!! And after that I listened the original... I love both :)

  • To think "weird" John Lennon is still inspiring the world decades late with Imagine and gentle songs like this. The guy was a 'dangerous subversive' in such a good way.

  • In an age when Dental hygiene In England & Ireland was pretty bad.. How did the Beatles have such nice teeth..????

  • @Gravitating when they came to america it was one of the the first things they hand to do to see the dentist

  • @Gravitating I've sometimes wondered the same thing, and decided they must have had some cosmetic dentistry as they became famous. You don't see the big wide smiles in the pictures from before they were famous.

  • "this is the whole idea of elderly woman song of my band referring..pearl jam..''( Eddie)

  • i love this song...:-)

  • Looks like fun I love to play tambarine ;-)

  • Eddie Vedder does a good job of singing it but it's disappoiting to look at John, who sings it with much more passion, and hear Eddie's voice.

  • hate the sound of his so called, singing voice. Like he trying too hard. John Lennon is one of the greatest lead singer ever. Eddie really stinks ahhhhhhh a hhhhherrr ,what the fuck?

  • @lisatina69 dude eddie vedder has a great voice and people like you dont recognize how amazing he can sing

  • @Whitecarter1 duuuuuuude; eddie vedder has a crappy voice, and I'm not the only one that said he has really crappy so called, singing voice, errrrrrrrrrr arrrrrrrrrrrrr errrrrr your lovbe awayyyy. He stinks.

  • @lisatina69 His style is different but if you really hear songs like corduroy, I think I spelled that right :), and immortaltiy, you would understand why some people

love passion and sincerity in that mans voice.

  • Errrrrrrrrr, errrrrrrrrr ,errrrrr , got to hide your lorrr away, sing it Eddie sing it, errrrrrrrrr, errrrr.

  • It pass.. But nobody like Lennon

  • Very good editing!

    :48 Haha, John's twitch!

And look at Ringo! He's having the time of his life!

  • not as good as the orginal but still its a good cover

  • i love this song when the beatles sing it. john lennon has such an amazing voice! this guy does a really good job at it, but i prefer The Beatles version. (not being a hater or anything)

  • @fungirl06776 Good opinion, i am a fan of vedder more than beatles personally so i like his better but the Beatles one is the original and its awesome!

  • I feel like i just discovered a gold mine. I love love love the Beatles and this has been my favorite song for about 15 years. I love Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder and have seen them many times and even met Eddie. This track and video is perfect. I have chills all over and I feel so grateful to you for putting it up. Thank you so so so much!!! :)

  • oasis does a good cover of this song too!

  • @LuciusVorenus13th Oasis = shit

  • cuddlebuttons, it's not a smash up video. He used the original video from the movie Help! that was during this song :P but yes. Eddie Vedder did an excellent job \o/

  • eddie is a little soft on the chorus.

  • And just because of this beauty I can state that for the rest of my life I will love Eddie Vedder.

  • poor george

  • Eddie Vedder really did a great job on this cover.

  • LOL--that was a cool smash up vid :-)

  • good song

  • A worthy interpretation by Eddie Vedder of a great song!

  • I saw Eddie sing this at a fund raising party with an audience of less than 500 people. AWESOME. He has an incredible voice and did the Beatles justice with this cover, plus helped out a very worthy cause.

    SAVE TRESTLES!

  • Siempre que escucho esta cancion recuerdo los meses de octubre y noviembre, que gratos recuerdos

  • Fun to watch, thanks! I like the way the clip sync's up with the original Beatles footgage. Vedder is a great singer. Not many can do justice to songs by the greatest band ever. Have you heard Eddie's/Pearl Jams version of "Love reign o'er me"? It's amazingly good. Please feel free to check out some of my covers of classic rock songs and leave a comment if you'd like. You've got some great stuff posted here, thanks.

  • I buy tons and tons of Pearl Jam live albums just for their covers they are awesome at covering stuff and by so may different artists from Beatles, Cash, Young they are simpley for the most underatted band in the world so many people still havent heard of Pearl Jam in UK its shocking

  • Pearljam619 I absolutly agree with you. Eddie has a distinct voice. And i LOVE his covers. I know alot of people dont like covers. I am a huge fan of covers. I especially am a monster fan of George Thorogood because he covers all those old blues guys. And he makes their good songs great. just my opinion. Really love their cover of Baba O Reily. and rockin the freeworld, Last kiss and the waiting with tom petty. I think his version is better than pettys.

  • love it lol

  • OST movie I AM SAM.

All the songs were beatles covers and this one's Eddie...

I have it on my marriage OST

  • great job

  • ai q lindo!!

  • Eddie Vedder is the shiznit, he fuckin rocks.

  • Genial xD
