  • I see you're a Meinl/Stagg fan. Very unique setup you've got there, never seen anything like it! It's awesome :)

  • @shazibIsMySon and you probably didnt hear that he likes em. haha i did not understand a word he said :P

  • HA HA HA HA HA JANUS PEDALS

i got them aswell have had them for 7 FUCKING YEARS man they go offff

    Laterz

  • mitäs kalvoja sä käytät tomeissa ?

  • Evans EC2

  • stagg RULES!

  • hieno kit :P

    ittelläni pearlin kit.

  • Pearlia harkitsin mut ei oikee saundit kuulostanu korvaan niin hyvältä.

  • we're a dying breed bro. mapex is the way forward.

the video's of my first band playing on my channel are the stag cymbals

check it out, shitty quality but you can hear the drums good.

  • maan stagg cymbals do, ive had the same china splash and crash for about 3 years. and theyre only just starting to crack, ive made max stacks outta them played about 500 shows with them, and recorded a whoel bunch. also the janus ergoplate pedal is thee best pedal ever invented INMHO. shame they dont make em anymore....

  • Finally someone who understands about good stuff. Fuck Axis, Janus is the real deal. =)

  • those stag cymbals are rubbish. they break after about 5 mins

  • They are unique because they are hand made. They are cheap because they lack of quality control. You have to do the quality checks before you buy it. Thats the trick...

  • Isanbul and Bosphorus and Ufip are also hand made!

    not so unique now!

if you want top of the range had made cymbals for a decent price use istanbul!

they are not commonly known or used because they do not big themselfs up, and they are not comerculised as other brands!

  • Yes I know these manufacturers very well, and have tryied their cymbals, but its so hard get your hands on them. I started using stagg after I tryied two 18" DH crashes. They sounded so great so I kept bying them, and I got some really good discount for them. Stagg has a very bad reputation but I don't really care about it. You just have to try them in a store and make really thorough checks about consistent thickness and sound.

Hopefully i'll be able to try Istanbul again soon, they're great.

  • is this set any good?

  • Yup... I love it...

  • Pst 3 20" Rides FTW!

  • The sound is really amazing for that price. But I'm still looking forward to something bigger and more ping-ish...

  • go for a signature. My Paiste 22" signature dark metal ride has excellent stick definition with a fat pingy bell.

  • Hmm... I should go and test one. But still Meinl Mb20 Pure Metal Ride could be the one for me. 24" inches of perfection...

  • fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck i want that cymbal. its perfct

  • ....are you speaking english bro? I swear the entire thing was in some Aramaic Russian...

cool setup. is that the FS series?

  • Yes, it's the FS birch series. And the language is Finnish. =)

  • heh thanks.

Honeslt though, your language scares the SHIT out of me.

  • Hahah... What is so scary about it? =D

  • Nice set. Thank you for the captions.

  • wtf is wrong with ur voice?

  • Dunno, too manly voice to handle, eh? =D

  • ahahahahahahahaha

  • iwant to get a china

  • pinche voz de perco compa----pdp la mejor

  • lol dude it sounds like you say vagina at 0:26,but sick kit i love meinl

  • Im saying "Traditional China" =D And now when you mention it... It really sounds likes it... :D

  • could you tell me the kits sizes because ive seen a picture of the kit and its got 3 tom toms and 2 floors

does it actually come like that?

  • This one is 5 piece Birch set, as mentioned on the "video info". 10" 12" 14" toms, 14" snare and 22" bass drum are the ones that comes straight from the factory as an package.

  • alright so if i wanted the 13 and 16 i would have to order them seperatley right?

  • These are F.A.S.T sized drums so I think only available drums are 8" and 16". And The cost a small fortune to buy from retailer. And when you really think about it, you don't really need them. At least thats what I think.

  • well the reason i wanted to order them was because i have another drumset the same color so id just be taking the bass drum from the one i have to make an 8 pce kit

  • So you want to make kit with 8",10",12",14",16" toms and two 22" Bd's and snare. Thats hellofalot stuff around you... =) But yeah, it is possible, if money is no problem.

  • i thought you were finnish!

I have a friend from Finland who has to order everything from thomann.

Must suck a bit, having to order everything from Germany?

  • Well the postals are actually quite low if you order lots of stuff in the same time. You only have to pay 20e once, Not depending on the weight or amount of your order. And Germany has lower VAT than Finland... =)

  • i like how you had the whole video subtitled

sweet drums, how much was the meinl 8" bell cost?

  • I ordered it from Musikhaus thomann, germany for 60 euros. The postal was 20 euros but I ordered bunch of other stuff on the same time so I only had to pay postal once.

  • finland;)

  • ...is a quite fine country.

    Also known as Kekkoslovakia. ;)
