@zamachanska It's about giving back the land stolen from the native americans (American indians but i don't think we're allowed to call them that :/ .) The burning beds and turning earth is saying " How can we ignore this as time moves on" and "How can we sleep at night when we are guilty of this theivery." Thats what my dad told me when I asked him anyway. :)

@StrangeLittleVampire You're right but it isn't about the native americans. It's about the aboriginals, because the band is Australian. Peter Garrett (lead vocalist) was very strong Australian man, and felt very sorry for Aboriginies. But everything else that your father said was right :)
