I didn´t understand the end of the movie.Can somebody tell me what happened?I was lost at the end.I watched two times this movie but I´m still lost.

The movie has been played from the viewpoint of the elder sister Sumi, who created her own fantasy world after her sister's death. In her fantasy world, her sister still lives and only in the end of the movie shows the whole plot (how her sister died and how her father reacted).

@alerga SPOILERS her sister and mother died so she went insane. When she returns home she plays out a psycho-drama of protecting her sister from her mad stepmother- it's just her and her father in the house. At the same time she is haunted by the actual ghosts of her mother and sister. At the end her real stepmother comes home and the ghosts get revenge on her for allowing them to die just to spite su-mi and su-mi returns to the mental hospital.

It's on YOUTUBE! Just type in Janghwa, Hongryeon 1. It has the whole film split into parts. It's a brilliant movie, one of my favourites! :) I felt sorry for su-yeon!

yeh, its more scary watching this and thinking what your own mind can do to you. How you can actually lose all sense of reality. Thats what I find scary in films, not blood and gore.

Did you guys know that this filmed was payed by DreamWorks for 2 million dollars for a remake, in comparison, the Japanese movie The Ring was paid for 1 million dollars for a remake.

I'm kinda assuming that's because A Tale of two sisters is a better film than the ring.

And because American's are remaking almost all of the good Asian horror movies.

one of the best horror movies, plus this one doesn't really focus on like the ghost itself. it's more like a psychotic thing which i find scarier than ghosts. O_O;;

I love this preview but it's too dark you can't make nothing out. This is the best film I've ever seen. Thanx for posting the preview maybe more people will watch the film because of this.
