  • i have a question about the acidity of oceans. if c02 breaks down dead corals and turns them back into calcium bicarbonate and then the living corals reuse that calcium to grow there structures then why is the PH dropping from ocean acidification? the PH shouldnt drop because when i use my calcium reactor for my reef tank at home it naturaly raises the PH along with the calcium levels, so back to my question, why is the PH dropping?
