The only candidate I could believe in is gone. Where does a vote for "no president" go? What if I don't want this country to even have a president, do I have a say? No, I didnt think so. The two party system that is in place is only to shut out other candidates from running. There is no difference between neo-con repubs, and neo-con dems.
When both candidates are horrible, voting for the lesser of two evils is STILL voting for evil. So I vote no confidence. How hard is that to understand?

I have pictures (hard to link in comments) of Nassau County, New York, clearly showing Ron Paul's name crossed off the ballot, along with Rudy Giuliani who had already dropped out, leaving voters only the choice of Huckabee, McCain and Romney. At that point, Paul was still in the race.
Steve Miller, a 27-year-old Brooklynite for Ron Paul, just called in to report that poll workers at PS 180 (57th and 16th Avenue) wrongly informed a voter who wanted to c More..ast a ballot for the Texas Congressman that there were only two Republicans on the ballot.
Miller, who is a volunteer poll-wacther for Paul, said the woman tried to vote on a machine, but was given an emergency ballot when the machine malfunctioned. She was then informed by "multiple" poll workers, who repeated their claims to Miller, ("right to my face," he said), that Paul wasn't on the ballot.

No. I didn't say "secured". I said "detained". They were processed, stripped of their rights and possessions, and held at camp Al Asad for at least a month before being allowed to return.

He was there, along with all the other candidates. Didn't survive the process.
There was plenty of media coverage of him. In fact, I recall he was the media darling because of his "daring" opposition to the Iraq war.

The only candidate I could believe in is gone. Where does a vote for "no president" go? What if I don't want this country to even have a president, do I have a say? No, I didnt think so. The two party system that is in place is only to shut out other candidates from running. There is no difference between neo-con repubs, and neo-con dems.
When both candidates are horrible, voting for the lesser of two evils is STILL voting for evil. So I vote no confidence. How hard is that to understand?

Well, I think you'll find that there will be way more than 2 candidates on the ballot, depending on your state.
And some of the parties that fielded candidates even asked Paul to run on their ticket, and he declined.
Seems to me you don't want to make an informed choice, you just want to whine about the fact that your opinions appear to be not in step with most Americans.
Stay away if you must. But whining about it smacks of poor loser syndrome more than anything else.

I have pictures (hard to link in comments) of Nassau County, New York, clearly showing Ron Paul's name crossed off the ballot, along with Rudy Giuliani who had already dropped out, leaving voters only the choice of Huckabee, McCain and Romney. At that point, Paul was still in the race.

This wasn't some random polling place, it was the primaries in New York. Huckabee was having the same thing hapening that day.. something is definately wrong with our voting system. The video I linked and the pics from the primaries is enough to show that. This started on a conversation about why I don't vote, and you have my answers. If you are such a patriotic American, you would realize that the Constitution does not give any elected official, of any party, the authority to remove books from public libraries. This would include liberals who have attempted to remove the works of Mark Twain from Boston's public libraries.
