More things: It is not mmorpg so it will not kill other mmorpg games...Its same as old diablo...If u buy original (:D) u will ejoy batlenet for this game...I prefer lan...Some ppl complain that game isnt dark enough...Firs w8 and u will see it.Dont judge early and second well that is new grafic this days...they will never make u fell same...And in the end if it goes any darkier we will have black screen :P

1.Blizzard said they are sticking with this art direction, so that gives us fans a reason to complain

2.you can get "new grafic this days" and still have the same feeling as you did say, 8 years ago. Look at Homeworld 1 and 2, I had that same sense of amazement when I played the first, then second.

3.And by darker, we mean a mood. This reminds me of WoW to be honest, with the blue light. The blue light makes it a whole less err... "scary" if that is the right word for what I'm trying to say.

What we see here must be the very beginning of the game. I believe that the closer you will get to Diablo, the darker it will get, just like in Diablo II. I'm sure Blizzard is creating some very dirty-looking sets for our eyes' pleasure... ^^

Partially agree and partially disagree. I loved the beautifully drawn textures of Diablo II, and the gloominess of the game, but this looks nice too.

It is really, really, really unlikely that Blizzard would ever keep to the hand drawn graphics in 2008, but it could've been sooooo awesome. I mean, with WoW, it's not as if they need money anymore.

this doesnt look scary... maybe its because of the great graphics, but it has not the same thing that had diablo 1 and 2. those games, specially the first one, was realy a scaring game. it was too dark, and it looked more like a haunted place, it really looked like you were going through the hell, and so the music was good. this one hears like the Troy soundtrack... and that caves look like a crash bandicoot game...
