Hi everybody, if you're interested in get an A-340-600 just send me a message and i'll send you the link of where i get the mine, it comes with the next liveries: Cathay Pacific,Virgin Atlantic,Iberia,Lufthansa,Airbus, and some else , it's from C.L.S. (Comercial Level Simulations), the airplane texture is a little bit transparent, but if you really want to get it, that may don't care you....i think it only works for fsx....but contact me anyway if you have fs2004
@PforPlanefly its all business class, i believe the flight is almost 19 hours from LAX to Singapore but its quicker on the way back due to the the jet stream.
@0909Pilot Don't worry I'll help you on the Posky VC, Posky have one of the best models. All the others are payware you have to buy them, you can't have them for free. Just PM me and I'll help you with the Posky, it's not a problem you have to have textures
@michael123124 I think the Airplane is do that on his own cuz when i fly with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 i get that too when i'm high in the air.
this is an a340-500 sms right?? i've got one of that, ann, last week when i was flying from lax to sao paulo brazil, around 2347 miles out, my flight sim don't reply and i lost all the flight, i was watching youtube's videos but i don't know the exactly cause, if anyone know, please tell me...
It's a setting you can adjust (by default the panel is completely solid). I have it semi-transparent so I can see the runway more easily when landing.
could i give you a quick tip as soon as you touch down you should put your spoilers up not 5 secounds after being on the runway but overall a great video 5 stars keep em up
Wow, I'm really sorry for the incredibly late response. Sometimes, with all the comments and messages I receive I accidentally skip over some. This particular one is from the CLS JustFlight A340-500/600 software pack. You can find it at the JustFlight website.
Yeah, I'd recommend it. It's pretty realistic, but I guess that's why it's payware. It's actually from the A340-500/600 pack from JustFlight. I'm not sure if they came out with a different pack that includes it.
Like I mentioned in the above comment, this aircraft is from a pack called A340-500/600 by JustFlight. You can find it at their website, but I bought it at a store for about $30.
The add-on software comes with call signs for all the aircraft. When I selected the aircraft in the menu I went to "Details," chose "Singapore", entered "38," and checked on the box that says "append heavy to call sign."
It should be in [hard disk]>Program FIles>Microsoft Games>Microsoft Flight Simulator X right next to the Sound folder. So go to my computer, click on the hard disk and then follow the path.
Thanks! Though I'm not sure I really want to hand it out to everyone. But, if you get Mixcraft 4, the program I used to make it, you could make something very similar. It's not like I "composed" it anyways. I just arranged it using some loops and a couple of instruments.
excellent video and flying, tip for landing- get your spoilers up and reverse thrust on as soon as you touch down, then cut reverse thrust at 80 or 60 knots, depends on how much runway you have left lol. 5/5
Thanks!!! I know I messed up on the spoilers/reverse thrusters and that it was a pretty late landing, but it was so smooth that I just couldn't not include it :)
Naw actually I didn't :( I guess you could say I "cheated" by moving the aircraft in the map. As much as I love flight sim, I could never sit down for 18 hours to complete a flight such as this. But, all the flying done was done by me, so in a way, yes, I did make all the flight.
Nice vidio but when i take off and put Auto-pilot on it always stalls when i do 1800 feet per minute and the only way i can stop it from doing that, i have to put the auto pilot on 1000 feeet per minute... HELP
And who was the one *cough cough* that gave you that advice? Haha just kidding, but yeah airlinepilotdude is correct. One of the things about the CLS A340 is that even the lowest flap setting creates a huge amount of drag. Even at full throttle, it seems to be impossible to climb without stalling if the flaps are extended.
I find the A340 (or at least the CLS version) somewhat difficult to takeoff. First of all, it's a huge takeoff roll, and second of all, you need to retract the flaps IMMEDIATELY after you takeoff or else you won't gain ANY speed. Most aircraft when you takeoff, if you have full power you can still gain speed while you climb, but not this plane. I used to stall on takeoff all the time too until I realized it was the flaps.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we enjoy flying "Flight Simulator"?
(2) What does make us to play Flight Simulator over and over again?
(3) What is the fun to flying in a way that can only be accomplish in "Flight Simulator"? (eg. landing an A340 on a carrier on the sea)
(4) Why do we like to fly different models of aeroplanes with different external paintings in different airlines? (eg. a cartoon outlook)
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for ideas!!! :)

You can fully extend/retract them by pressing "/" but you can arm them by pressing Shift+/
This makes them extend automatically once the planes detects you've touched the ground.
