This has become one of my favorite songs. I revisit this song regularly. Any song that BMK garu sings is an epic.. This one is another glorious song.

I like the history of this composition.. How a bangle seller wrote the song and how BMK garu forgot all about this song that he composed in the 1950s.

What an extraordinary song! This concert was part of the two-day "Living Legends" concert series at Trivandrum of Shri Manna Dey and Dr.M.Balamuralikrishna organized to commemorate their 85th and 75th birthdays respectively. My aunt and I were fortunate enough to have attended the concerts and feel truly blessed to have had the pleasure of listening to such amazing performances of these two evergreen legends live. If you watch all the videos posted here, you will see what I mean :-)
