I have a 2002 C230 Kompressor, and mine looks like that except it's not spiffied up.

I have over 100,000 miles and the car still feels like new. I always thought of this car as a German CRX, not quite an Si in the handling department, but it is fast, handles well and is quiet.

What I find funny is that the disc brakes cost as much as the CRX Si brakes.

At least it didn't get the same treatment as the 924.

yeah i agree. not a very good looking car. but somehow the 3 pointed star of the merc takes away all that ugliness. if at all a cadillac had the same design, it would have been declared as the ugliest car ever, but not this. this is a merc. thats all matters.

I have the CLC 220 CDI 150hp and it isn't impossible to get a consumption less than 6,0l./100 Always is the same between 7-8 liters. Nevertheless if you psh hard the consumption only rise at 9,2. It's difficult driving in a "racing" way to rise more than 10L. And with another car it would be more than 10 liters...

this car drisgraces merceded, anyone that cant see that this is just a tarted up version of the previous model is blind, its an old car and mercedes has the arrogance to market it as a 'new model' when rather its just a refresh of an old car with a new front and rear end, even the side body moldings are unchanged from the 'old' model' to the 'new' one. people that buy this car thinking that they're getting a new model are sorley mistaken.

The motor is way better, than in older sports coupe´s - but you´re right: from the inside nothing changed... and the rear end isn´t really nice- way too  high!but the new c-class front is great! I´ve got a 2007 - model of the sports coupe´, so I´m able to compare it!

if anyone gets the chance give the part above the tailights a tap and see how mercedes put a lot of thought into this car from c class coupe once you have done that buy an audi or bmw :)

I've bought this car a month ago (price - Euro 27500 in Moscow). Model CLC 230 (6V 204 Hp) Very nice for everyday driving in the city. The only thing that upset me is fuel consumption (17L/100km) + Russian roads that can offset any good feeling

Yep... it "sucks" a lot of fuel! But´s it´s also a matter of how you´re driving!

In summer, driving on the highway, I was about 7.8 l / 100km!!!

In Winter , short range drive with cold motor and all heaters on, radio on, a.s.o. - I had a new record with 18.9 l !!!

But it´s fun, driving that car!

This car looks almost as awful as the last C-Class coupe. Don't get me wrong I'm a Benz fanatic but this car and the A-Class really damage the marque. I mean the Audi TT is a much better entry level coupe. and the A-Class is blown away by the Audi A3 or even the less expensive VW Golf.

I think this model is more a competitor to the BMW 1 series and Audi A3, and not to the TT. Likewise, the A-Class doesn't compete with the A3, this vehicle does. After having a look at, and driving the CLC, it's definitely a Benz. It feels like one and it drives like one. I agree with you that the A-Class is damaging to the marque, as is the B-Class. They should do away with both those models. The CLC in my opinion, is a great car and worthy of the three pointed star on the front.

I was informed by a friend. Don't take your car back to the mercedes dealership unless you want it returned back to you with older seats. It is a well know fact,that after you purchase a car, and take it back for maintance rest asure something looks different, you can't place your finger on it at first, but then you realize that's not your car seat or radio, or grill or head lights, etc.

I hope they bring it here also. Considering it is basically a C class coupe, it would probably cost around $30,000-$40,000 here in the US(Depending on the model you buy). This is the car I want for my first car(if they bring it to the US)!
