I understand what you mean by this - that Christ cannot deny us anymore if He has promised to save us once. I asked if a person will be doing evil after being saved. what then. Then he wasn't really saved? So, how do you suppose to know that you are saved? There are sincere beievers but when confronted with evoltuion lies, they lose their faith.
Now I understand from 2 timothy 2:11-13 that Christ has promised to welcome us whenever we want, but from verse 5 I understand that we must follow the rules also.
Also, when this passage seams to have room for interpretation then Luke 12:42-46 is pretty clear about this - "...and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers".
Those who do not stay in Christ are the same as unbelievers. Also 1 timothy 5:6 - is this talking about people not saved or saved? I'd think it's the second.
And what is this punishment that comes to those who are saved but still sin on purpose? A little bit of fire? Our sins are supposed to be on the cross - paid by the blood of the Lamb, don't they. :) God will wipe away the tears - rev. 17:7 and 21:4. If He still punishes us, how are the tears wiped away?
