i was recently in cherokee and saw these poor creatures myself, n the whole time i had 2 keep myself from crying. We went to the Bear Zoo you see pictured at the end of this video. the bears were all either underweight/severely overweight. the grown bears were kept in their concrete pit leaving them no other means of survival than 2 stand on their hind legs and rub their front paws together in a begging motion for some bread and veggie scraps we held above. it was a sad, eye opening experience

These bears are such beautiful creatures. I support zoo's because I think that they help ensure that a certain species doesn't go extinct. However, this "zoo" is total bullshit. Who the hell would think concrete and fencing would make any customers happy let alone any bears? Some idiot. Zoo's shouldn't be what they are. Zoo's should be run by animal loving volunteers and the funds should go to the animals and their habitats (sanctuaries). They need realistic homes to truly be happy bears.

Zoo's are just plain out CRUEL!! The animals have a natural wildlife from their originating countries & belong there, not cramped into cages for 40yrs & treated inhumanely. The animals at zoo's are caged & treated poorly. I was once at a theme park in Florida and there they had an open range where lots of the animals could roam and be 90% free. Just like its their natural wildlife. Anyways point is we shouldnt just boycott this we should boycott zoo's too!
