I have *heard* a Channel closedown from 1969 though (well, definitely an afternoon closedown post-Morning Worship and possibly a late-night one) but I don't recall seeing one. My apologies!

I've been familiar with this one for years :)
This is from Monday 3rd February 1986, at the beginning of the coldest month this side of 1963.
I've seen closedowns from all regions except Grampian.

I think it's every TV pres enthusiasts' dream to dee a Grampian TV closedown. Unfortunately, closedowns from north o' the border are rare.
