my best friend has that...i guess they're waiting until december to treat him he is already mentaly ill..has bipolar and such he is afraid that the meds will make him way inbalanced? he doesnt even know how he got hept.C....hope things work out for ya! i dont believe in the casual use of weed as a teen i had my own issues with it but i as long as they keep thows who are on it off the road out'a the car they should make them like have a license for weed lol seriusly..then im 4it

excellent Pam I am in uk and I am on 2nd treatment for HCV virus, first lot was 48 weeks ( responded well but virus came back ) and this 2nd lot is for 72 week ! I am now on week 4 of treatment and like you I do smoke marijuana as I feel it helps me the same as you.Keep on fighting Pam.

I hope you are doing better now.

I have tested + for the HCV antibody about 6 months ago. Soon I will have the viral load and genotype done. I fear the possability of my having to go through what you did.

It is a shame when people can't get something to feel better without breaking a unjust law.

Hopefully the things I have seen on the news of late (6/2009) are signs that the public views on this topic are changing for the better.

Hello Pam. I can confirm your description of treatment, I did 48wks of Hell.2nd round tenth week now, just awful. Genotype 1a.

I smoke what I want to,for the reasons you explained.

Hang in there Pam, you can manage to an extent the progression of the Dragon,get on the sites that show you how, large diet considerations and other aspects.

Above all. Take Care of yourself,no matter what the little **** gets up to, it's still YOU in there.

State Senator William Haine introduced Senate Bill 1381 today, the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act, which would allow those with a physicians recommendation to possess up to two ounces of usable cannabis and up to seven plants.

well done for your honesty i have just completed tx in uk i am female 46 mother of 2 and yes canabis was my life line. no pain meds no narcotics just a couple of paracetemol.i find out if i have cleared middle of nov.i shall be going to amsterdam for a break when i get the results cant get arreseted there for using canabis good luck pam you are in my thoughts

Thanks. I'm on the "combo" treatment also for Hep C and I would seek cannabis meds if it were'nt illegal. I guess I'll just have to tough it out.

Personally, my own experience with hep-c & its treatment was something I hope I never have to do, again. It was everything you described. Horrendous! No one can know what its like until they do it themselves. Marijuana helped me through it, too. It helped calm the nausea, & enabled me to eat while on treatment. Good video. I am just over 37 weeks into a 72 week course of tx for hep c, and it is every bit as difficult as you describe...fortunately, I live in CA, where marijuana has been legal for medical purposes for over a decade...I certainly hope all other states and the Federal Gov't follow suit on this issue.

I hope my home state of IL is able to come to their senses on this issue, and be smarter than the federal government... And legalize Marijuana for those who can benefit from it medically.
