there was no sonic 3 level...?? sonic and knuckles got sky sanctuary and 3ds got mushroom hill, sonic heroes got 2 , seaside hill and 3ds got a boss egg emperor. hydrocity zone, ice cap, and marble garden would have been amazing, marble garden, seeing earthquakes, sliding up and down the water shoots, slipping on ice . sonic 3 alone has potential to be remade like generations style levels

No you're meant to beat a level with one of the Sonics then you can do the next stage with the Sonic you did the previous level on but you have to do that level again with the other Sonic to unlock the next stage for him. Hope that cleared it up.
