August King Salmon with Indigo Guide Service

My son and I just finished a second trip with Kevin (Aug. 26/27). Spectacular is an understatement. My son caught his first King; we got our butts kicked the second day...but had over 20 fish hooked. OUTSTANDING!

I just got back from a salmon trip with Walt and Kevin. The fishing was great, pretty much like in the video. Lots of big strong fish fresh in from the lake.

The lower river fishes hot and cold on a day to day basis. I don't like giving exact locations and in this case it does not matter. We could have replicated this anywhere in the bottom 35 miles of the PM.

Yeah it seems like fishing thunderstick for kings in th early season, like august, is very hit or miss. Seems like the best chance to get them on thundersticks is early in the morning before the sun comes out, but this video its overcast and raining, so that probably helped alot. Do you guys fish consistently with flies during the early season, or primarily with lures??
