This camera looks like it would take 5 minutes to set the controls for 1 photo. I still think Sony A300 is better. For sure the A700 blows this Canon away.

The 40D is more professional than the A300. Besides, only Live View is that complicated.

The 40D is more professional but not a professional dslr. With this level of camera you can take the same quality photographs. I kniow for a fact the A300 is easier to operate. I prefer Sony,this is just my opinion

Yes the 40D has better noise at higher ISO. I'm sure Sony will be improving this matter in the near future.
