On every page of rare groove is a dude complaining about the youth music of today - every generation copmplains about the music of today - jus listen to the bad bwoy riddim and close yuh ears when bieber or Gucci Main comes on.
wish they could commend us back to the day when music was aired and played like this...1980's...the blast and jam for us soul brothers and sisters...love

Oh my God, I had not heard this song in years. When it was out I played it to death. I was looking through some of my old boxes and I ran across the cassette tape. I am looking to see if I can download it somewhere now. Thanks for posting.
Another reason why I do not listen to the 'tosh' that's being released today. This is music at its most wholesome and most beautiful. The world gain so much if record labels could re-release these classics back into the mainstream.
Well another classic in the must have 80's Vinyl collections......This along with Chreyl Lynn - Encore, Rose Royce - Magic Touch, Gap Band - Outstanding....pure soul!
I was such a big fan of this group and didn't know who sang lead until a year later when Curtis Hairston had his solo album. I loved this guy so much. His voice made my hair stand on end, and still does. Heaven has all the great ones. Curtis, Wayne Cooper, Bobby DeBarge, and my all time favorite Harry Ray!!!
There will never be tunes like this made ever again *cries*

Such a sweet tune. Reminds me of cruising round Bethnal Green, London in my Ford Fiesta...many years ago!

Takes me back to Bedford, England 1985. Hanging at the club. They don't make music like this anymore.

@leketoob Well said my friend!!
Music suffers a serious void right now because of all this talentless manufactured tripe that we're subjected to. True talent is all but dead.

Your wish is my command
I'm your genie
Your wish is my command
Can't you feel the magic ?
You rescued me from this loneliness
A shelter so deep inside
I thought there'd never be that special one
But you had the magic touch
what a gorgeous song, for lover!!
