I am an engineer major at UCR. I learn the exact same material as UCLA, UC Berkley, and UCSD. I also get the same job and internship opportunities. UCR is somewhat cheaper than the others so I take $9,000 less in loans. I say that is a good deal.

just to become a UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA the university has to fulfill certain requirements, Riverside obviously has much above the bare minimum and is among the top 50 colleges in the WORLD. before you say anything next time, get your facts straight because leaving stupid comments is NOT classy, you look more like a dumbass

Riverside does a lot of research for UCLA and Berkeley. it contributes quite a bit to the UC system. besides, it doesn't matter what undergrad you go to.. people get into medschool, law school, and a ton of other professional schools after graduating from UCR. i think that speaks highly of the students there and the quality of education.

Yea, and UCR is considered to be the lowest UC out of the entire system (Merced most likely surpassed UCR).
