@rejectedbythedevil14 it helps alot and is used in many different hospital. there is even one video on youtube about a chinese guy who met an accident and a big piece of his scalp near the skull is slashed open by i think tree trunk or something.( can see the skull if u flip his scalp open gosh >.<) and then after a few days, ambulance finally arrive and in the hospital, the doctors found alot of maggots under his scalp. They say if not for the maggots, that guy could have been dead...
probably a homeless guy, I did not see bandages or gauze. Look like his sock was covering part of the wound, so those are probably not medical maggots. Looks like they kept the wound clean though.
We do not perform maggot debridment in our hospital , but unintentionally wound had been debrided by them and the condition is much finer than it may be.
The hospital didn't put the maggots in hin cause u c the babys that shouldn't happen I'm guessing but ewww
