Here are the scenes that make me crap myself in broad daylight: 0:30, that skinned creature (shivers), 1:11, that demon thing, OMFG, that made me REALLY shit my pants, Of course 1:18 made me jump a few feet in the air, and all the parts that were showed when the guy with the bullet wound touch hands with the girl, showing all the demonic stuff that the guy did. I felt like my soul was being crushed as I watched that scene. :(

This is, actually, a pretty good horror movie, unique in many aspects and very atmospheric.

I recommend it if you like the horror stories of HPLovecraft; if, on the other hand, you like "horrors" such as Hills have eyes or Saw, don't bother.

@KKDrunkinski I live 5 minutes from the Kali Oka plantation, and I've hard soo many stories, including the one about the 7-foot tall slave that you can see pacing back and forth on the front porch. I myself never made it to see the plantation before the renovations (I made it halfway down the dirt road and ran back), but the plantation as well as the entirety of Kali Oka road is scary as fuck.

Many were fighting because they were paid and did not care about causes. History shows things different, from how it was.

I'm usually not scared by most horror movies because I watch as many as I can.

But god damn this movie scared me! It was late at night at like, 3, and I was with like, 6 people and it still scared the shit out of me. It's sort of cheesy and the characters could have been a little better, maybe a better ending, but it's a good movie to me.

To tell the truth, after watching this film I was disappointed in FX, storyline, monotone music. All by itself is boring. Yet... DAMN, IT WAS FREAKING FIRST TIME I SAW SUCH MOVIE DAYTIME AND YET I WAS SCARED SHITLESS!! Seriously, there is something really disturbing about this film. Maybe good music+visuals... I'd take it was just constant stress or eerie soundtrack, but once again, I was really scared, and i saw this shit in full daylight and I'm usually not scared by any horror movie.

By far, my favourite demon face FX scares. If you're into scares, gory or not gory, with typical horror movie atmosphere and music, this movie is a thrill to watch with your girl friend, unless you're into solo watching just for the scare rush, this movie can't go wrong for this.

This movie is ridiculous and confusing as fuck (at least it was to me). There was 1 dead bird in it at the start, completely irrelevant to the story line. I didnt like it and I barely found it scarey. Its probably good for people who are easily frightened by things that jump out at you etc. Pretty good for a prank haha.
