Is the whole thing animatronic? At first I thought, yea but then I thought whoa, nope no way they could make a animatronic skeleton look that natural and those things attached to it look like their controlling all the motion. Really fooled me at first!
I helped build this when I was working at Hall Train Studios.
The whole thing is controlled by a clockwork mechanism underneath it. It all runs on one motor, and there is no computerised control. Everyone thought it was a real shame that the machine part of it had to be covered up when it was installed--it's as cool looking as the skeleton itself.
